the National Conference of Educational Research – CERED 2019

“Research in European Education Area”

Between 17-18 of July 2019, the 6th edition of the National Conference of Educational Research (CERED VI) will take place in Timisoara, with the theme Research in European Education Area. This conference will be followed by the PEREV International Conference, L’identité européenne en question, which is going to take place from 18-19 of July 2019.

This year’s edition of the National Conference aims to the methods in which Romanian educational research can become more visible and more anchored in European educational research. Moreover, it aims to become a member of consortia, partnerships and European and international networks of Research. Priority is given to research presentations from this thematic area. The presentations that will be accepted to be presented at the conference are those whose communications show the results of researches already made in order to make research more visible in this way.

The National Conference of Educational Research (CERED) is an annual event bringing together theoreticians and practitioners in the field of educational research, representing a framework for reflection, sharing research concerns and educational research results for the promotion of scientific research in the field of education sciences.

At each new edition of CERED, we are pursuing the development of the Romanian educational research community and strengthening the visibility of research activities and products in both national and international context. The event takes place under the aegis of the Romanian Educational Research Association (ARCE) a professional-scientific association member of the European Educational Research Association (EERA).

The papers accepted after peer review process to be presented at the conference will be gathered in a volume of the conference. This volume is going to be published, in English, in an international prestigious publishing house if the papers are related to the theme of the PEREV conference. The papers can also be published in the in the Journal of Educational Sciences or in an online volume of the conference, in Romanian, volume published at the West University Publishing House in Timisoara.

Participants: This conference can be attended by academics, researchers, experts and practitioners interested in the field of research in education. Participation and meals are free of charge, transport and accommodation costs are borne by the participants.

Location: Opening and main activities will take place at the West University of Timisoara, no 4 Vasile Parvan Boulevard, at the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology.

If you have research results that you want to present, to discuss, or to extend your research to other areas of the country, you can make proposals in the “Symposiums” section. If you have proposals for research topics that you want to do in partnership with your colleagues or refined research concepts in wider/inter-university teams, you can enroll the proposal in the “Workshops” section. Young researchers

Proposal conditions: abstract of min. 500 words in Romanian and English containing the description of the research question, the theoretical context, the research methodology, results (if any) or expected results and conclusions. To be sent to cda@e-uvt.ro until 15.06.2019.

Who is addressed: PhDs students, PhD’s in Education Sciences, Masters in the last year of study, Students and Practitioners.
